Sultan Chemists, Inc. announces acquisition of Sultan Dental Products Ltd.
ENGLEWOOD, NJ, November 17, 2005 - Sultan Chemists, Inc. is changing its name to Sultan Healthcare Inc. and has acquired Sultan Dental Products, a New Jersey based manufacturer of professional preventive products.
Sultan Healthcare Inc. will combine all sales, marketing, operations and supply chain functions into their location in Englewood, New Jersey. The acquisition of Sultan Dental Products will account for thirty-five percent of Sultan Healthcare’s revenues on an annualized basis.
Paul Seid, President of Sultan Healthcare commented, “The acquisition and consolidation of Sultan Dental Products and Sultan Chemists, Inc. will deliver to our customers a wide range of benefits that include faster delivery, expanded field support, single contact for purchasing, shipping, accounting as well as increased and focused marketing and sales activities.” Seid continued “The focus on our three business’s Dental, Medical, International and four product groups: Dental Materials, Infection Control, Preventives and Oral Pharmaceuticals will allow us to become a better and more valued supplier to our distribution partners and healthcare professionals.”
“As our dental business has grown in both domestic and international markets as well as endoscope reprocessing, acute care, hospital supply and veterinary supply, we believe the new name better reflects our current and future activities in the markets we serve,” said Carey Lyons Sultan Healthcare’s Executive Vice President.
Sultan Healthcare’s North American dental field team will be lead by Doug Hawkins; North American Medical will be lead by John Sullivan; European, Mid-East and African Sales by Sian Mathews; Latin American Sales by Gina Alfonso; and Asian Pacific Markets by Jill Anderson. National Accounts will be managed by George Rogiokos.
Additionally this week Sultan Healthcare has opened its European Distribution Center based in Amsterdam, Holland. European Union customers will be able to order and receive all Sultan Healthcare products within days already cleared into the EU. The new distribution center will dramatically improve delivery time and virtually eliminate back orders. This will allow our distribution partners to shorten their supply chain, lower their inventory levels, turn inventory faster and eliminate importation costs.
